VANDALISM STATUS UPDATE
There has been an update to this feature.
On 3-April-2008 we received an email telling us that the graffiti was cleaned-off on the 1st of April, and the result is excellent. We had a look at it ourselves and agreed.
After 22 years waiting this removal work has been awarded

I'm told that this graffiti
has been on this wall for 22 years. I think the building is owned by
the Council or a Housing Association. Whoever owns it obviosly doesn't
care that the elderly folk that live there have put up with this for so long.

Why don't the Neighbourhood
Wardens report graffiti that they see on their beat ? They could give
it a Job Number then chase the matter up, calling it resolved when the
graffiti has been removed.
